Rashed Mujib Noman is an esteemed leader and innovator with a notable track record across diverse domains such as Operations, Human Resources, Project Management, Finance & Accounting, Marketing, Engineering, Innovation, and Strategy. His career is marked by outstanding achievements in scaling organizations and driving substantial growth.
With roots in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and Seattle, WA, Rashed’s academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). He continued to build his expertise with a Master of Science in Engineering from the University of South Carolina (USC) and an MBA in Project Management from the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT).
Rashed started his career as a Project Engineer at General Motors (GM), where he honed his skills in Project Management, Analytics, and Testing, and managed offshore teams in India, China, and Mexico. He then advanced to The Boeing Company as Senior Manager for the Operations Control Center, where he became a versatile expert in analytics, testing, product ownership, and program management.
Currently, as the Country Director at Augmedix Bangladesh, Rashed has led significant growth, expanding the team from under 100 to over 1,000 employees in six years. His strategic leadership transformed Bangladesh into the company’s most profitable center, earning recognition as the global Center of Excellence (CoE).
Being a start-up enthusiast, Rashed founded Cybernetics Hi-Tech Solutions Ltd, which developed Bangladesh’s first EOD Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) now used in UN Peacekeeping missions.
He is a dedicated mentor for startups in robotics and automation and a strong advocate for STEM education in Bangladesh. He actively engages with the community as a member of the Executive Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Bangladesh (AmCham) and as the founder of the Humanity Worldwide Foundation, which focuses on poverty alleviation. Rashed was honored with the Digital Bangladesh Award 2022 as the ‘Best Person’ in the ‘National Level: General-Private’ category.
